Jan 16 Research Notebook Entry 250 words: Michael Moore and reading chapters.
Jan 23 Research Notebook Entry 250 words:  Photography and Reality (on PowerPoint photojournalism presentation).
Jan 26: Proposal Write a proposal for your documentary.
Jan 28: (as per Workshop 1 instructions) Take a picture of yourself. Resize it in PhotoShop and insert it into a Word document 
Feb 4: Research Notebook (We haven’t covered this yet.) 250 words. syllabus gives “Purloined Letters” entry.  x x x x x
Feb 11: Workshop 2: Insert a picture into a Web page you’ve made manually. + Convert the image into a graphical hyperlink, using FrontPage.
Feb 13-20: Peer interviews:  Try to produce a short clip explaining that this is week 5 of the course and that you are testing the camera for the first time. Explain what else you are doing in a clip of ten to 20 seconds.
Feb 23-27: Writing Component: A peer-interview video transcript.  Embed a video clip of your peer interview into a Web page, and transcribe the contents of the interview as descriptive text in the page.
March 19: Research Notebook essay on Lanzmann’s Shoah. 500+ words:  Is Shoah an anti-document, and how does our work so far this semester affect your thoughts about the controversy over Lanzmann’s philosophy?
